core spun is the sewing thread for all fabric

CORE
SPUN THREAD :
Core
spun threads are produced by spinning
the staple fibers of polyester or cotton
then wrap on continuous polyester filament.
Two or more of these stranded yarn are
doubled (lined up together) and twisted
to make the sewing thread. Consequently,
the thread provides superb strength
from the polyester filament together
with the characteristic feeling from
the fiber wrap. All these constitute
to the superior all around performance
of the thread. The thread lubricant
is retained well by the surface fibers
and results in the exceptional sewing
performance.
Core
threads of various sizes can be used
for sewing of almost anything from delicate
blouses to heavy clothes. They are recommended
for all automatic sewing machines.
